I was tasked with interface design for the Virgin Money app for Android during my time at Monitise and Monitise Create in London, utilising Google’s new at the time Material Guidelines to ensure the experience felt familiar and safe for Android users.
Simultaneously another designer focused on iOS and we worked together to ensure the experience and the design language was consistent but at the same time taking each OS platform into consideration and respecting the different design philosophies and patterns.
I also worked closely with the in-house design team at Virgin Money to ensure any brand guidelines were followed which was integral for a smooth process.
